SAT Score Pattern

There are 2 sections in redesigned SAT 2016- Reading/Writing with optional essay and Maths. There are 154 questions in SAT to be accomplished in 3 hours 50 minutes. 52 in reading section to be completed in 65 minutes, 35 minutes to complete 44 questions of writing, 58 questions of maths in 80 minutes and one optional essay. For every right answer you will be graded with 1 mark and if wrong, ¼ marks will be deducted which may lower your overall score. In SAT it is advisable not to make more guesses or just avoid guesses. Each section of SAT (Reading/writing and maths) will be graded at a scale of 800.

Combining the scores of both sections, you will be awarded with final scores and that is your SAT result. Try to attain the scores more than an average score.
