How to book or register for IELTS test
Check the available IELTS test dates
Before booking your IELTS test, first of all you should know the available dates of examination. Once you get the desired date, you need to check whether the location you want to book for your test have the vacant seat on that particular date. For instance, if you want to take the test on 7 July in Chandigarh, check whether in location Chandigarh, the seat is available on 7th July. You can see only those sessions which have seats available. Once the sessions get filled that date will not be visible to the user.
Know about the right IELTS test version for you
Secondly, you should know which version of test you want to take. IELTS has 2 versions- IELTS academic and IELTS General. If you are a student and want to go for higher studies, then choose academic else choose General.

The registration fee for IELTS test is INR 11,100
Now, you have available date and you know the version of test. You are ready to register for IELTS test. Move step by step as shown below:
- Click on “Register for IELTS Now” button and you will be moved to the registration page.
- Then choose the date, location and the module you want to apply for.
- All the available dates in your town/city will be shown to you, select your date and click on apply.
- Read all the terms and conditions and move ahead by accepting them.
- Fill in all the candidate’s details carefully. Make sure you have all the details with you before filling the application like passport details, photograph , ID and other documentary information.
- Check the payment amount and the method of payment that you will have to access
- Carefully mention the five organization where you want to receive your IELTS test report
- After completing your application, read it twice before submitting.
- After submission, note down the important instructions if any
Test Venue details
You will be informed about your test venue via email approximately 5 days before the test.
