The pie chart represents four key factors due to which the farming land is deteriorating day by day. As per given records, 65% of total agricultural land is getting affected by logging of trees and animals over-eating, comprised of 35% and 30% respectively. Furthermore, over cultivation of crops has also deteriorated 28% of land and some other factors contributed 7% to the total.

In 1990’s, these three traits had huge negative impact on the agricultural land of different regions of the world. Starting with deforestation, it degraded 9.8% farmland of Europe,1.7% of Oceania whereas in North America, it could damage only 0.2% of land. Not only this, over-cultivation too had a great influence on the Europe’s land which lead to its 7.7% degradation. However, in North America, this damage was reported as 3.3% and in Oceania, no land got affected due to over-cultivation issue. But Oceania could not protect itself from overgrazing which worsened its 11.3% of land. North America’s 1.5% and Europe’s 5.5% land was suffered due to overgrazing only.

Taking everything into account, it is concluded that Europe experienced the maximum degradation in its land where deforestation and over-cultivation had significant contribution.
