Q1 Which type of module should i choose?
Ans: You need to appear the Academic Module if you want to do higher studies, and General Module is suggested for immigration and PR visas.

Q2 Let me know about the format of the IELTS exam and it’s specific time duration?
Ans: The IELTS test is divided into 4 parts, they are as follows:
⦁    Listening (30 minutes),
⦁    Reading (60 minutes),
⦁    Writing (60 minutes) and
⦁    Speaking (11–14 minutes).
The time duration for the test is 2:45 Hours. They are conducted in a row and on continuous basis except the Speaking test.
Speaking test may be conducted on the same day or in the duration of 7 days before or after the other tests.

Q3 Please tell about the fees structure of IELTS?
Ans: Currently, the examination fees is Rs. 9,300 (British Council) and Rs.9,300 (IDP – education Australia).
Fees are bound to change from time to time without any prior notice.

Q4 At which place can i take my exam?
Ans: There are many places where the IELTS test can be taken by the candidates of both the modules; Search and Choose the place according to your convenience and check for the locations of exam and its dates.

Q5 Can i take the IELTS test for more than one times?
Ans: No bondations or restrictions are there on the number of times to crack the exam,just prepare yourself more carefully before you are up to retake the exam.

Q6 How can i do registration for the IELTS Exam?

Q7 When would i get my test result?
Ans: The result is declared within the 13 days of the test.  To view your score please check with the website of the test conducting agency.

Q8 Is there any way to recheck my paper if i am not satisfied?
Ans: In the duration of 6 weeks of the given test date, you can apply for an Enquiry on Results procedure at your test centre. For this you need to pay an enquiry fee, which is refundable under the circumstances if your band score changes.
Note:The method of testing IELTS is followed by the highest quality control procedures due to that very fact the IELTS Examiners are bound to follow strict assessment guidelines and are well trained for same.

Q9 Am i allowed to take all types of test in one single day?
Ans: No. You will to take the Speaking test within the duration of 7 days either before or after the test date, depending on the test centre while the Listening, Reading and Writing parts of the test are conducted in a row and without any break.

Q10 Will the candidate get any break in between the test?
Ans: You will have to first attempt Listening Module, and then the Reading and which end with the Writing module.
Note: There will be no comfort break in between the aforementioned modules.
